Vivendi Games, formerly Vivendi Universal Games and Universal Interactive Studios, was the holding company of Sierra Entertainment and Blizzard Entertainment. Vivendi bought Universal Interactive Studios in the early 2000s.
Vivendi Games was a 100% subsidiary of Vivendi. The company is noted for creating popular franchises such as Warcraft, StarCraft, Diablo, World of Warcraft, Empire Earth, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, and many others. Vivendi Games merged with Activision and is now known as Activision Blizzard.
