Project Sora is a Japanese video game developer founded by Nintendo Co, Ltd. president Satoru Iwata and former HAL Laboratory employee Masahiro Sakurai. The company was formed after the successful of launch of Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii. Project Sora's first project was Kid Icarus: Uprising for the Nintendo 3DS. After the development of Kid Icarus, the company will begin work on the fourth Super Smash Bros. title for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
