Duck Hunt is an NES game that was released in April 1984 in Japan, in October 1985 in North America, and in August 1987 in Europe. It was also released in arcades in 1976. It was a launch game for the NES in North America, and was bundled with the console. Because of its popularity, the game was later released as a bundle with Super Mario Bros., and even later released as a three game combo with Super Mario Bros. and World Class Track Meet. The Shooting Range and Trigger Twist games from Wii Play and Wii Play: Motion may have came from Duck Hunt.

Gameplay[]

The main objective of Duck Hunt is to shoot all of the ducks that your hunting dog finds in the grass. If you shoot all five ducks, you can move on to the next round. If not, the dog will stand up out of the grass and laugh at you. There is also a clay shooting mode where you must shoot clay discs that are thrown before they disappear.
